BSP is a groundbreaking community initiative designed for young individuals aged 7 to 16 who face the risk of disengagement from formal education. As a pilot program, BPS is dedicated to providing students at Quaker Hill Academy, Kitale with an alternative educational pathway, focusing on digital incidental learning and environmental sustainability through permaculture training. Using our comprehensive engagement model, we aim to not only support and empower participants but also enhance their capabilities and that of their community to foster their success. Quaker Hill Academy in Kitale stands as a beacon of hope and opportunity for the children of the community. Founded in 2003 by Margaret Wandabwa, the academy is a testament to her unwavering dedication to education and community service. Quaker Hill Academy currently accommodates 250 students, comprising both day scholars and boarders.
