Margaret Wandabwa, the matriarch of the Wandabwa family, epitomizes the values of love, compassion, and community service. Her lifelong dedication to serving others is a testament to her extraordinary character and unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in the world. Margaret's journey of service began with a profound act of generosity when she donated part of her land to build a church, demonstrating her deep-rooted belief in the importance of faith and community. Driven by her passion for education and her desire to uplift the lives of those in need, Margaret founded Quaker Hill Academy in 2003. Inspired by the timeless verse, "You are the light of the world, a city on a hill cannot be hidden," Margaret envisioned the academy as a beacon of hope and opportunity for the children of the Kaliwa community.
